I need to have 2 sound card on my laptop
Does Anybody know what solutions exists to have 2 soundcard on a laptop (What hardware to buy). If I connect an Usb sound card, it disable the integrated one (The one I've got on the laptop). Without 2 sound cards it is impossible to use headphone to have a pre listening of the tracks.
Thanks very much for any help

yes you can use an external sound card with your internal one just go to config > sound setup > and choose the option that suits your setup best, you may want to consider a card that has three stereo channels out, the extra channel can be used for loops or jingles because with a two channel card these don't come across to strong, in the mean time you can try this until you have that second sound card,

basically if you cant follow the clip
go to config
soundsetup
outputs > external mixer
soundcards > mono seperated
output channels give you white lead/left channel red lead/right channel to your mixer
you will have to use a y splitter for each channel to get dual inputs into mixing desk
which of course will only give you mono sound output
hope this helps
