If you need a decent mixer with lots of inputs for sources - try the NUMARK cm200 USB
rackmount
5 channels
dual usb soundcard inputs for 2 channels
2 mics
I use the non-usb version at the strip club I work at. works well for a daily grinder that's in use for 12 hours a day.
(clubs hours - 2pm till 2 am 7days a week)

Yep Pioneer is a good mixer.
I have a CM200USB it is good for its price.
I also have a Denon DNX900 It is a great mixer, but no built-in sound card, if thats wut ur looking for. (there is also a DNX500 which is same minus digital in/outs) You could get the DN-hc4500 controller with it tho. that has a sound card built in. A really good sound card actuallly. considerably better than the CM200's card.
Another good sound card for low cost is made by M-Audio. Jst check out their website.
Lots of good mixers out there. U jst gotta find 1 thats best 4 u.

Thanks so far guys, what are the microphone sockets like? I ask because I want it to be able to handle karaoke also. I am looking for one that will do all of it, the sound card input is not essential as i hae a maya 44 external sound card if I need to use it. I have tried a couple of mixers now but the microphone inputs and outputs are weak and give loads of feedback
many thanks

We use all three mic inputs at the strip club.
1, main mic - DJ for announcements.
2, Wireless mic for Promo guy.
3, Wireless Mic for special event annoucing (wet t night, best booty contest, etc....)
So at times there are 3 people talking into the mic, with music blareing, and both strippers and ametures getting naked.
There are times I really love my job :P
