After having a interesting converstation with skyfxl, about soundcards, I am now curious as to what everybody uses for a soundcard, specfically those who use timecode. A few choices that I know of are:

i have a Pre Sonus Firebox .... 3 channels , firewire $300 US
 
Started with:
MAYA 44
(Good entry level card - however very LOW outputs, ground HUM, fragile)
this is now my back-up card


Upgraded to:
AUDIO 8 DJ
(in my opinion one of the best [if not the best] money can buy - STRONG outputs, no HUM problems, strong metal chassis)
 
I use the soundcard built into my Ecler Evo 5, with and without TCV...
 
Hercules MK2.
I understand it can be used with TCV, just not the best at it.
 
I use different cards for different systems....

Conectiv or the Xponent soundcard.
 
The Herc. MK2 on my gig system with wdm drivers in dual soundcard mode using my internal for the sample section.

I just sold my turntables, but I had been using the m audio delta 1010lt on my timecode system & it worked beautifuly;^]
 
I use a Rme Fireface 400. Sometimes I use the built in soundcard of my Korg Zero8 Mixer, but with some videos I get clicks and pops, so for the most part I use the RME because it works perfect.
