Gang -

I am retooling my rig to play video files for this coming year.

Specs:

P4 2.0ghz w/ 1gb ram P4P800-VM mobo running W2K standard install. Video card is a ATI RADEON 9250 PCI configured as 2nd.

Now after fussing w/ the Gigaport, audio is good.

Playing videos via WMP, the color look bright & vivid. It also does not 'force' funky screen ratios. Same goes for PowerDVD.

Now, when using VDJ, the contrast is lacking and colors look kinda burnt vs bright. Does not matter the file. VOB/DIVX/MPG/etc.

Performance is kicking. I can do the cool video transitions w/o major issues.

Even as it is, it will be VERY useful this upcoming year.

I want to just 'insert DVD' and let VDJ play it - like a video file. Since VDJ has a preview screen, it does make it easier. Movie? Music video? Boring slideshow? Yup - that's what I want.

Thanks gang!
