A friend of mine works for Broward Schools and today he was in training. We hung out today during lunch. He showed me what they were training him on. He was running Windows from his school over the network that is like 35 minutes away from his location on his MacBook Pro. I couldn't believe it. There was just a very minor latency, but you could still say it was running normally. He was connected via the training location's wireless network.
Technology is getting to a point where pretty soon, which I'm not surprised if someone hasn't already tried or done so, we can DJ 2 or 3 parties in one shot! Can you imagine? you can see your desktops from your 2 or 3 Macs at the other locations. Get the next song cued. Use your Mac's sound card for the Mic, Emcee there from another location. Use a web cam so you can see the crowd.
Now I'm thinking way ahead of myself!
