im planning on purchasing a set of numark cdx's and using timecode cd's. will this setup work with vdj? ive already purchased the ESI u46dj sound card. if so, do you think its worth spending the extra cash to get the numark hdx (hard drive setup)?

Should work fine ;)
It has same principle as a Pioneer vinyl emulated CD player, and I use that all the time with VDJ and timecode
