Topic: Numark Total controller HELP!!!!

I would like to change sound effect controls to control the video effects or video transitions on my Numark Total controller.

I us the Fkeys for controlling the sound effects, unfortunately no one has made a mapper yet for the NTC.

Is there a way I can make this happen without a mapper?

you could map the console manualy :) via the midi mapping section on

remote controls > midi

That would be great. Could you please give me the detail instructions on this? I heard of this but just to computer illiterate to figure it out.

Previous to R4




Rev + 4 and 6
go to remotes > and enable general midi and right click and press options, and press add

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You will now see a list of possible actions for each button or slider , each option is explained on screen.



Repeat these steps until , the console is mapped to your liking ,you may also find this link helpful it is a midi number list for each button.

Total Control are permanently set and not
adjustable.

Dose this mean that the controler can't be re-mapped?
 
That means you cant change the midi numbers some applications have a preset list of what notes should do and this is not changeable .

However as vdj works on assigning an action to a midi number this isn't a problem

as you can set any action to that one number in vdj options.

I quickly attempted to change the effect to video but nothing seemed to happen but will spend some time after my gig tonight.
