When I plug my USB Splitter into my macbook pro, Cue will not play on either side. Any help?

are you using tiger because the djio currently does not work with leopard.

Not using leopard.

I had it working, then went to change a skin, that was it.

Not sure what is going on.

The only thing I can do is dump the program in the trash then reinstall.

But nothing has helped.

ASIO doesn't exist in mac, apple functions on Core Audio, totally different.

To make DJ I/O work properly you need to set the card to 4.1

DJ I/O functions on USB 2.0, if you do not have a USB 2.0 hub and USB 2.0 cable, your DJ I/O will not function properly.
Further more having a powered hub adds more stability if not piece of mind.

The best option is to never run your sound card on a hub. If you have to, well then you have to, but avoiding it is better off.

Also on your mac, if 15"pro/powerbook or above, you should use the left port, which is tied directly to motherboard (port on the right is bussed).

If on a macbook, the front most port is the equivalent.

It's hard to use all these devices, I run into it all the time, so a powered USB 2.0 is your best bet.

Thanks.

I have now figured it out to be a DJ IO issue.

I have downloaded the latest update, I made a difference. Still not the best, but I will try a powered hub.

Thanks for all of your help.

I am really becoming a fan of this software!

is the card detected by osx?

1. Open finder
2. Select Applications
3. Open Numark USB Audio Panel
4. Confirm Status says "Connected".

It was a DJ IO problem.

Fixed, all is great!

could you explain what the problem was? would be nice if other users run into the same problem in the future...

The driver I was using was not updated.

I downloaded the newest driver from the Numark site.
