Hi VDJ MAC community,
When you use VDJ on a mac (i've used it for years on pc before), one may assume that all that can be played in iTunes will be able to be played in VDJ.
As i look at the threads here, many users create playlist in iTunes hoping re-use it in VDJ.
And here is the issues:
1) Some special characters like "&" are not supported in VDJ and if you drag on a deck a file named or tagged with an "mytrack & something" -> MP3 ERROR
2) Tagging is different between iTunes & VDJ, some track appears blank in VDJ even if they are perfectly tagged in iTunes
3) Some mp3 format are not supported (some example around high quality mp3 VBR)
I know that it's probably difficult to develop a strict compliancy with iTunes but 99,99% of Mac users use iTunes.
Is there another way with V5b3 to use the old fashion way and to rely only on the file name (without any tag reading) ?
Regards

Not satisfied with this workarround !
Try this :
Purchase a CD, Import it with iTunes, let VDJ discover it (tag enabled, track/artist enabled, or not), the issue is always the same, if you have an "&" in the filename you're damned caught !!! VDJ will not play it.
