now i'm gonna have to go and get it printed out HUGE... then i'm gonna tape it to the ceiling of the booth and put lights on it. it's gonna be my new shrine.

What about the self proclaimed DJ who comes up to you for a request and let's you know that his song would fit perfectly after the current song. Or if he stands there then ask why am playing this type of music and that I need to play more of a bootie shaken type music.
I thaught about this last night as I was practicing. The person that comes up to you at the begining of the night and ask you "is it 90s or 80s night" or "are you going to be playing this type of music all night or I NEED to play more upbeat / faster / newer music to get the crowd dancing... It's always person that I have never seen before and apparently they know how to run a dance club.
being that most of my crowd is of a certain age at the beginning of the night and the dancers are way too busy getting their drink-on to be dancing right now. Dammit Jim, I start playing when I think people are ready to dance. Shut up and go buy a drink before I start playing country music.
The funny thing is. My last call dance floor is fuller on my nights than the other DJ's peak times. HMMMM, I must be doing something right.
