sorry, if i'm double posting
with automix(smart) on
it will use my entry & exit points
(i only use mix fade)
every time it reaches an exit point,
but if i would like to start the fade earlier
(for example i picked the wrong song and have to change it quickly etc ...)
and double click on the next song
it will start the song from the beginning
ignoring the mix points
the older version used to use those
thanx,
matt

Need to re-read page 19 in the new manual -- manually set mix points are only used in the SMART mode.
FADE options only use the length setting based on the fade types selected.

i read the new manual...
and i mentioned above that i'm using automix in smart mode
my manually set mix points work well as long as i don't interrupt playing the songs till they reach their exit points
but when i try to squeeze a song in between from the playlist by double clicking it(Jump and MIX NOW)
it'll ignore my mix points and mix(fade in) the song i double clicked from the beginning
i used force fade with my mix points in the older version and am trying to get the same results with the newer one
please excuse myself if i still missed something
thanx

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough. But I think in your other post I that I answered is the answer to this one as well.
The mix_now method used the Auto Mix Fade setting in the Config -> Options tab. So if you have that set at 4 sec then when you double-click the next song in the play list then what you get is just that the 4 sec mix_now setting. In functionality it is not going to follow any of the SMART (manually set) mix points.

Well, that is something to add to the 'improvements' list for 5.1
