Topic: How would you guys do this?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I am going to a single cd timecode in and using the total control for the mixer. It is very unnatural to scratch on the left but push it right. Is there a way to flip the fader on command?

It would be really cool to be able to do this and scratch each track to one side.

Thanks for any info ahead of time....

you can use just one cd , and switch bettween the deck controled by just clicking the timecode button for that deck

which apears when in timecode mode

That is not what I meant. I feel ignorant not being able to explain this better....

OK... I am playing a song on the right player in VDJ ok? I am scratching the start of a song or a cue point on the left player with timecode. I would like to swap the fader to then be able to scratch the song on the right player with the fader moving the same as it did the first time.

Like I said. Going to a single player is a tough thing and to add trying to learn to scratch from left to right with my right hand on the fader is near impossible. For whatever reason I just can't make it happen.

Use the clone deck command. I use it all the time because I can only scratch with one hand at the moment lol.

Sorry I just understood what you meant. You need a mixer with reverse switch. At the moment its not possible in vdj (not that I know of)

Yeah that is what I am kinda looking for. I am not using a mixer anymore. I am using the Total control for my mixer and a maya 44usb as the total interface.

That will then run to a studio style mixer but nothing for mixer. I can't even cue on that mixer so am really really counting on VDJ here.......
