I was wondering if I could use the MK2 console in my laptop and have the sound output from the Audigy2 ZS pcmcia card ? What do you think?

it is possible to select that as the only output card
but if you ever wanted to use both you would need to upgrade to pro

You could do that, but why? I've been using the internal soundcard in the MK2 with stellar results...I think it sounds great, and so does my audience :)

For my 1000 post i would conclude...yeah mk2 is still decent for a soundcard even tho its not the high end ones..BUT it still werk great if ur setting is good;)

Anytime :) BTW, the Pro version is definitely worth the investment. I was really surprised by how much more you get...Like effects and samples downloads, especially. Plus, pro actually makes it easier to work with your music, including ID3 tag support (yeah, I know, another commercial...I'm just happy with it is all)
