I'm thinking about switching to mix video insted of just music. what Virtual Dj version Software do I need to buy ? and what controler ? Can I control the videos with the regular pionner cd players 1000 ?

Yes you can use timecoded cds to control the software with a card with dual stero inputs like the maya 44 usb
