Topic: Do I have to Reannalize files after convertion.

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Might be a daft question,

Just finished converting all my music files to high quality mp3 fomat, as I had 3 different file types, mp3, wma and wav. Abit of a mess really anyway,

Will I have to re-annalize them for there BPM's and set my que point's up again, or will VDJ remember them as what they were before the convertion.

Yep,

Got to re-analyse and set my cue point's up again,

Well yes, because VDJ doesn't remember files by it's name, but it's size and CRC check and it's extension also. It is that way so you can move your files to other folders and even rename them it will still be analyzed. Adding ID Tag will also change it's size ;)
