I guess the good thing is that they can't complain to you since the music was not loud just carries... blame the sale manager for since it's out of the your hands. The bride would be bitching that she paid all this money and can't play to her party... either way you are out of it ( for once it's not the dj's fault )

Another down side on the recording aspect I just found out. Since I am using a Rane Empath mixer it doesn't control the internal mixer, thus when I hit record, it records everything. Even when I am cueing up the next song in my head phones. I understand I can use the parameter knob on the icdx to control the internal cross fader, but what a pain in the butt.[/quote]
For recording, you can take the "booth out" of your mixer and feed that back to your computer and then you'll be recording the sound that comes out of your mixer. You'll need a second soundcard.

After reading this thread I feel confidant about the iCDX not using the jog wheel as a "pitch bend" it acts more like a "Nudge"
Is there anyway I can edit the internal mapping on VDJ for the iCDX to replace the jogwheels "nudge" with the actuall "pitch bend"??
