Topic: admin i need help....regarding my mk2 bundle

ok i bought my mk2 bundle which includes the vdj ver2.0 and i dont know if theres something wrong.......first is thers no sound going out my laptop what should i do? or i need speakers? cant i use the laptops speakers? second is i cant locate my mk2 system tray icon ....which i think answers my problem cause i cant setup my outputs ..hope you can help ..thanks in advance

can i mix videos?? if i can how?

hello there ,

you need some speakers to use with your mk2 ,

if you are djing at home , any computer speakers will do just replace the mini jack to phono cable

with a dual phono cable , or if you are doing events an amplifier and larger speakers would be a good investment,



this diagram shows how you can connect it each line is a dual phono cable , you dont have to use turntables or the mixer if you dont want to (external mixer only in pro )

you should have version 3.4 console edition , grab the latest

you can mix videos if you have a good video card , in a video window

if you would like to do full screen video mixing you need pro ,

should you want the features of pro , you can upgrade at a

thanks for the help.....one last thing can u give me softwares that can work with the mk2? and where i can download it..
 
if u using the v3.4 that the latest n should werk with the console, however u might try the pro version trial first, n then if u like it n fits r needs, u could upgrade it at a discount:)

i updated my vdj....but wondering if wat else (software) besides vdj would best work for my mk2? thanks ad if where can i download it

timecoded cds are special cds with a binary code on it , which allows virtual dj to be controled by cd players

download the timecoded cd

burn two audio cds of it ,

(please note console edition is limited to 5 minutes per song timecoded use to give you a taste for it)

you can upgrade at a discount

as you own the mk2 for unlimited usage.

Other software which works with the mk2 are :

Traktor (no video or tcv support with mk2) , and deckadance (no video)
 
But VDJ is definitely the best option of them all!!! I have tried many but none is as good as VDJ. I really advise you to get the full version of the program at the discount price. You will not regret it.
 
oh ok thanks for the infos......btw where could i download traktor? and would traktor 3 work??


p.s. my video window has a green thick line in the middle when i play videos? whats wrong?
 
we dont do traktor support here...

what video card do you have?
 
how do i check my video card?
 
mobile intel (R) 915gm/gms, 910gml express chipset family.... is that it?
 
that chipset is for office pcs not multimedia

you need at least 256 mb dedicated vram

hey why cnt i see my control panel settings (system tray icon)?? i mean it was in my manual 6.4 page 10...but i cnt find it im my vdj
 
look on control pannel

or in the hercules program folder
