Topic: No Sound from Hercules MK2

I am aware that there have been a several problems with the MK2 discussed in here but I've search and found nothing about my problem.

There's no sound coming out of my Hercules either from the headphone monitor nor the output in the back. The controls work like the fader and the volume, like I can move them up and down and left to right but NO Sound?

Here's what I've done so far:

1. I've downloaded the latest version of the Hercules driver from their website.
2. I've adjusted the volume on the Control Panel for Hercules.

Btw, the primary sound card on my laptop works.

the following settings must be used

Sound options :

inputs : none
outputs : headphones
card : mk2
channels 1/2 main 3/4 headphones

 

I did that and it's still not working. I even did

Sound Options:


Inputs: None
Outputs: external mixer
card : mk2
channels: 1/2 left and 2/4 headphones

The strange thing is I can't even hear anything from the mk2 headphone monitor but like what I said all the controls on the mk2 is working. Just no sound.
 
i suggest you contact hercules who will help you to try to reset the card , or return it to the shop of purchase

as it sounds like a faulty unit.
