They need to resolve the TCV pitch "jumping up and down" issue.

They're already working on it since 5.0 release. It's a collateral effect of the new smart TCV engine... they'll fix it soon ;-)
 
in smart mode use value 2000 for pitch sensitivity in options - works perfect for me -
 
I know, but you slow down the instant reading of the pitch value if you're about to change it.
The "Clear Sound" has something to do with that also ?
