Is there a way I can transfer all my bpm's, que points and track comments from my home version of VDJ to the new VDJ 5.
I only ask this because when I get paid again from my day job I'm going to puchase VDJ 5 and I don't want to be putting all the info back in again

Before you do upgrade - make sure you have a backup of the VirtualDJ Database.XML file from the C:\\Program Files\\VirtualDJ folder. As insurance incase something doesn't transfer correctly.
Also, when you do this - check to see if you have a VirtualDJ version 4.3 download available. If so, you should first install that so your database is converted to V4, then download and install V5.

navigate to your vdj folder in program files and make a copy of mp3 database and user (yourname) .xml ...... when you down load 5.0 rev 2 see if it migrates your files if not replace them with the saved copies .....check my facts i think that is correct and also read the update manual for ver 5.0 , available here at the forum

Right I get what your saying,
But how do I do it. can somone write a step by step guide on how to save the database.
I'm not all that clever with doing such things
Many thanks
