Topic: Burning a recorded mix to cd?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

When I use the record feature in VDJ and record a mix I want to burn it to a cd using nero. How do I convert the bin file to burn to a cd in nero?

bin file? You should be able to select either the wav or mp3 in Explorer and drag it into Nero, or just right click and select add to burn list to use Windows Media Player.

Isn't the recording length limited in the home edition?

Honestly, I have not tried to record anything for longer than a few minutes. I have not seen anywhere where it states a specific length of your recording in VDJ home edition. Maybe someone here can answerer that. But what I do know, is that when I record something, it saves the file as a bin file, and I cannot burn to CD. How do I fix this?

In the record config of VDJ there are many options on file output. I have always had the best results using wav to record onto a separate drive from my music files.

Thanks, I must of been half asleep last night when I asked. I got it now.
