Topic: Is there a way to save loops?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I can't figure out how to save my loops. Can this be done?

yes Charlie you can record and save loops using the on board sampler in VV/CUE.

If you are using VDJ, yes you can.

On the Loop Sampler press on one of the empty slots (usualy from 7 to 12), then chose the loop u wanna make, press play and REC (on the Loop Sampler box) at the same time. Then u go to the Sampler label, press the white and blue circle corresponding to the loop you have just RECcorded (a list will appear), chose your options (Loop; Beatlock; Sync On; AutoPlay; Write Protected), press Save, give a name to your loop and IT'S DONE! xD

Pretty easy!

What about auto loops... Ex. playing a song and it hits the loop in marker and plays until specific number of plays. Then loops out automatically.

No there is not a feature as fatkatzdj describes. Only the Sampler has the loop saving capability.
