can this be done much the same way we did 3.4 migration to 4.3 by simply renaming the virtualdj.exe file or is there to it?

I of course did several searches, but if you don't type exactly what is needed, it does not find a match.

That's why I answered the question also. Some maybe embeded in other discussions. But yes, just rename the virtualdj.exe to virtualdj_4.3.exe (for example - can be what ever you want) then install V5. The V4.x database is not harmed so if you create a new shortcut to your desktop you will be able to run V4.x just fine.
