Topic: When using crossfader output is distorted

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I recently upgraded from the Hercules DJ Console run-time version to Virtual DJ Pro and I love the new features. I am having problems with the crossfade function both manual and automatic. When I crossfade from one track to the other, the output is choppy/distorted, not smooth. I have tried every setting on the options screen and I get the same results. I believe I have the latest Hercules firmware and the latest Virtual DJ software, any ideas?

It can be performance issue. Is it the same when you use mouse to drag crossfader?
