I would like to put windows XP on my mac and run VDJ on it will my Hercules controler still work it's the mac version.

Also do i just buy any version of XP pro or dose it have to be mac version?

It should work fine as long as you install the windows drivers for the Hercules MK2 on the windows side of your Mac, I would think.

You do NOT need XP Pro.

You DO need a retail SP2 (Service Pack 2) version of XP Home or Pro.

A retail version of vista will work as well as sky has stated.

the mk2 has native mac osx drivers too if u wish to run it with mac vdj

He stated that he does have the Mac version of the Hercules MK2 controller.

He's just saying that he wants to try it using windows xp through BootCamp on his Mac.

He's probably just gonna use that option until the major update to VDJ/VV Mac is released like quite a few of us are doing.
 
you may be able to update the firmware to support windows too

with the latest window driver by the looks of it

they are the same hardware

Also, there is a new version of BootCamp (version 1.4) that came out last Tuesday and has updated graphics drivers among other things.

I'll start a thread about it if one hasn't been started yet.
