Ok when you did a search on the PC you right clicked on my music and add to search data base so that you could search the entire hard drive for any song you wanted, now i can only add to search data base sub cats for example indie etc. is there a fix? chaz

You should be able to inc. entire hard drives to the search as well as just folders within the drives.
 
to add a folder click it and hold the apple key + control

to add a whole drive , click the local database , apple + control

and "scan hardrives " will pop up click it
