Topic: Error using Text 2D

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I hope this wasn't ask before, if it was, sorry. I'm at a gig with this issue.

When I try to use text2d I get a popup error

Text 2d Plugin
Direct 3D is not initalized

What must I do?

Go to the effects panel
Select Text2D and click the big Activate button in the center panel
- get error - click OK
Enter some text, Apply then Activate

Does that help?

There is some weird qwerk in the effect that pops up from time to time.
