thanks guys i have a bigger problem....
i had a virus on pc..got rid of it but had to restore my computer....my install cd for virtual mk2 was in my e drive while the restore was done.... now my virtual dj and mk2 work but i do not have acces to the mk2 controler..no icon on tray and when i go via program files i click on the icon and i get an :error loading mgs files...... so i tried to reinstall but the cd is stuck on uninstall and when i click to uninstall i get a windows exe.set eror... i think due to restore there was a problem in the drivers instalation...wondering if i can not download something to fix this

try to acess it via control pannel
if that fails do a full uninstall
and then check the registry
go to run , and type Reg Edit
and on this screen search for hercules
and delete any remaining references then reinstall
