Topic: Getting a microphone or headset to work

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I would like to try and get a microphone and/or USB Headset with mic to work with 4.3 but I can't seem to figure out how!

I have tried the Sony Headset with USB soundcard adapter and I can only get the headphones to work with it...

Are there hidden microphone settings I just don't know about or cannot find?

My other option is to just use standard microphone all by itself, but again, not sure how to do this?

Any recommendations on USB headphones that would work with laptops? Microphones that would??
