Yes - TT direct to Maya44 USB Inputs - no pre-amp is necessary.

the problem is that I can't try it before I buy it...
I wish I could try it on the store somewhere

Yes you switch the mixer to line in. Sound quality is good, I have one. Not positive about the tech logic other then the soundcard reads the timecode signal, communicates with VDJ which plays the music file and then the output goes back to your mixer and on to your amp/speakers.
