Hello guys, i have been planing to buy a dj package from as site called Axe Music which resides in my city, here is a link to the product.

http://www.axemusic.com/product.asp?numRecordPosition=10&P_ID=1221&PT_ID=149

my main plan is to buy this package
and hopefully put a $60 (+shipping) on it to buy timecoded vinyls from the VDJ site.
I dont want to go around and do this yet not be sure,

could i get some confirmation that this will actually work?
incase my computers info is needed
im on a 1.5ghz intel p4
768mb RD ram
and a soundblaster Live Value!
dont think my vid card would matter but its nvidia geforce fx 5500 if it does..

my plan is to split the money with a friend, setup the tables in our basement, and hopefully hook it up to my computer, and using the timecoded vinyls be able to mix my own tunes through VDJ

will this work? is there anything im missing,
anything special i need to do , including connectors etc.?
another question would be, initially how to i even connect it to the comp so it recognizes the vinyls..

i would not recommend these turntables get one that is dirrect drive

you will aslo need a soundcard with dual stero inputs such as a maya 44 usb

u46djmk2 , virtual vinyl or if your looking for a controler aslo the mk2 dj console (comes with home edition software)

remember to use timecodes effectively you will need full virtual dj pro

Also, why not ask them at AXE to get you a pair of the Numark VirtualVinyl TC Vinyls - they are the same as the VirtualDJ Vinyls

oh my bad, i had posted wrong link
http://www.axemusic.com/product.asp?numRecordPosition=1&P_ID=10613&PT_ID=149
that is the one im hoping to get,
now the reason im going to get a package is because the others are too costly, and my budget is not high at all

so, if i just get the maya 44 usb like u suggested, i will be able to use it to connect the turntable and VDJ will detect? also record too?

now for the u46djmk2, i quite didnt understand what it is or does, sorry but could u clarify this product?

also when we get our equipment we will also get the VDJ software so thats not a worry

cstoll: that is not a bad idea, i thought VDJ timecoded only work with VDJ, but i will definately call and ask when im ready to actually get the tables.
