It's the same if you are using two monitors. In windows, it should be "extend my desktop....". In your video card menu, it should be set to dual view (nVidia). I don't know about this splitter, so I will just make a guess. You should see the splitter listed as your second monitor. I would have the splitter hooked to the computer, before boot up, with at least one monitor hooked to the splitter. I can't be sure without more info on specs of the machine, splitter. Maybe a link to the splitter. Does this have an amplifier in it?
