This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I want analog mixer (for heavey scratching) but I also want the crossfader to control the crossfader inside the software so I could be a vj at the same time...
what mixer should I get?

You can take Ecler Nuo 4 or Pioneer DJM 800 which has MIDI support for video crossfader.
If you want something cheaper, Hercules MK2 or Numark Total Control or DMC2 is the best.

no other option?
what about dxm 01 USB?
or the DM950 USB???

If you wish to have the MIXER X-fader cross fade the video then the MIXER needs to support MIDI.

The 2 you listed only have built in sound cards and don't support MIDI.

The NUO and Pioneer that DJ-ALF listed are MIDI capable MIXERs
The other items are Controllers that can communicate with VDJ and control the softwares actions - except for the MK2 which also has a soundcard.

what about the M-Audio X-Session Pro MIDI DJ Controller?
can I control the video?
can I control the whole vj software?

Feena FMDJ9303 MIDI controller?

Yes, you can use them as they are MIDI controllers. You need MIDI support so you can assign video crossfader as a shortcut to any fader/knob you want.
I think that Numark Total Control is better controller that ones you mentioned as you have jogs for pitch bending/scratching.
