Topic: How do I find a bad file?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

My HD is over 50,000 songs. How can I find bad or corrupt file?

if it did not respond well in ur deck or it crashes VDJ:))

simplest and easyest way is to go to to my computer

right click on your harddrive and press properties
on this screen look on the tools tab and use Check disk ,

this will find any currupt files of any kind and attempt to fix them

The best way I have found to find a corrupt file is to be playing a hectic set in front of a large crowd...the corrupt file will find you during the set...it is Murphy's Law.

Not a bad file. VDJ on other PC scanned drive without a prob
