I am needing to be able to use the MIDI signals that my Hercules DJ Console transmits with both Virtual DJ and my lighting software Sunlite simultaneously... i.e. being able to press play on a track and have the lights in-sync with the track.
Is it possible for two Windows programs to use the same MIDI input source? If not, will a routing program work to solve the problem. If so, will it create issues with Virtual DJ? Is Virtual DJ programmed to know that a controller is whatever it is if the port name is not the same as the original port name?
Please help!
