Topic: Using VDJ in direct sunlight

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Any tips for this, only tried once and couldn't see the screen at all!

Not sure if the new glossy (X-black) generation of screens are any better?

I did an outdoor gig yesterday and I had to prop the case(rack) lid over the top of the screen.
I think there is some sort of a protector that is sold, but can't remember where I saw it.
