Topic: Automix Fader

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I've read topics on Automix looking for my answer but did not find it, so here it is:

While in Automix mode, the fader slides over very fast from one song to the next even if I change the settings to "smooth" or any other setting......is there something Im missing? I have all the latest direct X and all of the suggestions from reading previous threads....

The movement is all based on the fade time you give it in the Options. Check what the fade time is set to.
 
The fade time determines how much is taken off the next song, however, the fader always moves fast, never slow and easy. That part needs to be fixed. It has been mentioned on here a kazillion times?
