Topic: Need some sound quality help

Hi, everytime I use an eq, effect , or fader, the traks, whether, in coming or out going, slow down/or stop, as well as crackle, with each knob or fader movement.
I have a toshiba with 1 gig ram,a celeron 1.5 processor,and an external drive with 332 gb on it.
Are there any tweaks I can do to remedy this.

You need to lower your perfomance settings to make the crackle and noise go away:)
