Torched my laptop with a spilled beer one night and had to upgrade to Vista and new cpu....VDJ works, however for some reason the new drivers won't install and the Hercules folder is empty under program files. Have installed under Admin, installed/unistalled a few times, got rid of USB devices connected, but my Toshiba Tecra won't let this happen for some reason.
Anyone have this issue? If so, would appreciate any insights.
Cheers,
k

Did you delete the HERC from hardware profiles.
I would suggest you rolling back (System Restore) to before your 1st attempt at installing the soft/hardware.
Also with VISTA when installing the HERC and Vista's "Install Device" shows just ignore or cancel it and let the HERC installer do what is required.
