Topic: someone please help.

it is the weirdest thing.

my hercules dj console mk2 does not like certain cd players.

same setup, different cd players.

denon dn-s3500 doesn't work with tccd.
pioneer 800 mk2 doesn't work with tccd.

and yet my $45 cd player with no scratching capability at all works just fine.

can't figure it out. any suggestions?

try lowering the timecode volume by 13 db with a free audio editor such as audacity and burn a new disk

use the reduction tool , select the entire mp3 and reduce it by 13db

where is it located?

i looked through the effect menu item and could not find it.

Just lower its peak level, you can use Sound Forge or Nero Wave Editor for that, quite simple.

effect > amplify : -13.0dB
