im havung trouble recording with my mk2
it records but for some reason it doesnt record wen i talk into the mic
i have the "master+mic"thing on and i can hear my voice over the speakers, wat can b rong

Your mic is plugged into your sound card, not your PC. The sound is one way, out of your MKII, not back into your PC.

Your Hercules mic MUST be set as default mic in Windows.
Go to Windows control pannel, and choose the "Sound" icon, and make sure the MK2 mic is set as default microphone..
It should record right then
