i just got my tcv today. i really want to try them but i do have a sound card like the maya 44. is there a way that i can test my vinyl with the sound card on the laptop. 1 vinyl will be ok. i do have a gigaport sound card if that helps.

The Maya 44 usb is no good. It makes alot electrical noise and has no ground for your turntables. Use the M-Audio Connective audio interface. It works really nice and easy to use

try to use the mic input and the ground from an external mixter board.

the MAYA 44 works great, he's right It doesn't have a ground
but I don't know about the noise. it's much cleaner than my HDJC
and I thought that soudn card was ok.

Thanks,

the mic is mono , so you cant use that input

you need a decent card like a maya or conective or a u46dj

essentialy this is the same question you just asked on another topic please dont double post it confuses matters.

lets use the existing thread to discuss this

kind regards
