Topic: Please! VDJ Guru's fix the Auto Mix Glitch!

I am a one man mobile DJ, I love the program as it now gives me flexibility to work the crowd and not have to be behind the rig spinning CD's BUT the glitch in auto mix mode of skipping seems to rear its ugly head at the absolute worst time. I will not go into the problem with the setting entry and exit points as they work on some songs and not others but I can live with that as I can stretch out the mix length BUT the skipping is ridiculous. Please don't reply that you shouldnt have to mix with the auto mix as you have no idea what the situation is. I did a search and this is a huge universal problem so just fix the glitch, put a patch that I can download and lets move on ... PLEASE!

I feel for you..sometimes you need a few minutes for the bathroom. getting a drink or just to schmooze the happy couple..I would try a service ticket my friend...
 
Skell has a ver, very good point. And while we are fixing the automix, there are a few other things that could be dealt with at the same time as those mentioned in a few other threads. Like smoothing out the crossfade and the quickness that it goes from one deck to the other (an option to slow down and hear one song fade while the other builds up. heck, windows media (a lousy program) can do IT !
 
I agree... with the earlier versions of VDJ, I don't remember this being a problem. It almost seems as though it's getting worse with each build. :p I do not trust the AutoMix feature anymore, but there are times that I really need it. This is an issue that REALLY needs to be fixed.

I think VDJ is trying to be too smart. I don't care about smart, I just want smooth transitions from one song to the next like Windows Media Player. If there is a smart feature enabled on Automix, let me at least be able to disable it.
