I saw this thread and got to thinking....

http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/71903/Hardware_Technical_Support/Will_the_2_DMC2_s_support_Multi_Instances_of_VDJ.html

I still have my DAC2 at home and no intentions of selling it so I decided to try it out - in the home studio under controlled conditions.

It Works!!

I downloaded the multi-instance skin(only one I could find - is there more? because the second instance is practically unusable, small, no browser, and just too small really) and set one instance for the DMC2 and one instance to the DAC2.

Works okay.

The default mappings of the DMC still seem to work perfectly okay
Cstoll's mapper of the DAC2 works just as good as always.

I only played with it for about a half an hour, so I could get a feel for it.

Pretty damn cool, I thought. Really good for mash-ups, and sample mixes.

The more I experiment with this software the more I like it.
