If you dont have the MAC version, it wont work. No can do. I tried. Read the FAQ on Hercules site.

Q.3 Is the Hercules DJ Console PC Edition compatible with Mac? [ top ]

No, Hercules DJ Console Mac Edition is a different hardware than the PC version:

if you plug Hercules DJ Console PC version on a Mac computer, the Mac OS detects it only as a USB sound card, so you cannot use the DJ control surface
if you plug Hercules DJ Console Mac Edition on a PC, MS-Windows detects it only as a USB sound card, so you cannot use the DJ control surface
Both firmware are not compatible:
DJ Console PC version sends and receives orders in DirectInput mode and converts them in MIDI if needed,
DJ Console Mac edition sends and receives orders directly in MIDI.
A DC Console Mac cannot become a DJ Console PC and a DJ Console PC cannot become a DJ Console Mac.

dam , they seem to have a driver for it tho

which is odd anyways

mk2 can work with mac however

Yeah its quite stupid. I guess they just want to sell more controllers.
I even opened a support ticket on this info and I was given this information from support tech. I was like , what? Duh thats stupid. update the firmware!

Yeah, I also have MK1 for PC. I have been using it on Windows on my iMac until I found out that VirtualDJ was migrating to OS X. I'd like Hercules to make firmware update or something so I can completely delete Windows and strictly use OS X for musical purposes.
