Hey,
Ive just installed virtual dj for Hercules mk2 and when i try to load the progam an error message come up saying Directx sound error. Ive looked at the previous topics in this forum and its been no help to me.
Ive installed direct x from windons so what is the problem?
Please Help!!

dude i got the same problem. on vista....i currently have techs trying to figure out my problem before going to the geek squad at best buy lol. the stuff posted in the forums did me no good either. please contact me if you find a solution. paahhlui@yahoo.com

PROBLEM SOLVED!
Go to control panel then disable everything under sound and video controllers! Then plugin the hercules. worked fine after that! the sound cards were colliding giving me a direct x error!! The internal soundcard wasn't shutting down while plugging in the hercules...so i take it that it was trying to use all 3.
No problems after that! Works awesome!
