Hello!
Ok, I just got my DMC2, and tried it on both my mac and PC. it definitely is one badass piece of equipment.
I'll list the pro's and cons.
Pro:
smooth jog wheels
buttons click nicely... no misfires.
in scratch mode, there is no lag... it recovers as soon as you stop scratching.
it displays the tracks and folders on the screen. you could actually DJ without a monitor... cool!
easily accessible fx, and samples from the scroll wheel.
everything works perfectly for VDJ
cons:
smaller play, cue and pause buttons.
hyper sensitive jog wheels in scratch mode... a 1/4" turn sounds like a backspin.. (I assume the mapper will fix this)
It needs external power, so make sure you have room for a wallwart.
I'm altogether very happy with it..
I'll answer any questions you may have if you have any!

I forgot! It definitely works on the mac!
The only thing is, I caught a small bug....
every single button works perfectly, except for the audio fader buttons. on the mac, they cause an immediate crashs ,hutdown, or whatever you want to call it.
Push it, and bang, program closes..
this is the first and only time I have been able to crash it on the mac.
I'd never use that button anyhow, but I think it needs to be fixed...
other than that, it's solid as hell on the mac.

With the mapper, you can adjust the scratch sensitivity to suit your own preferences.
