Topic: Playing standard vinyl

Please, please, please can someone tell if it's possible to play standard vinyl with vdj. If so, how is it done? Thanx!

Yes, you have bypass option so you can play ordinary records in VDJ.

There is in fact no bypass option. It basically stank, so they removed it. You have to have some sort of hardware bypass, and trust me, y-splitters are not cutting it (you loose much of the higher frequencies, resulting in a muffled sound). The only real option I would recommend is getting the Virtual Vinyl interface or the SL-1 soundcard from serato. These are powered sound-cards with hardware bypass which allows you to play regular vinyl without even having your computer connected.

How do you mean they removed it? I don't use TCV's but I remember it was there? Like a shortcut or on some skin?
