Dou you think it is good enough for professional video mixing & scratching?
Only question is video card: NVIDIA Quadro FX 1500M - 512 MB, hope it is powerful enough? It is based on nvidia 7900 gs: http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-Quadro-FX-1500M.2134.0.html

I already have 1 laptop which should have been good enough but could get rid of clicks and pops....

Should be good for video mixing, only problem can be the drivers if they are well written for this video card. If it is like 7900Gs, than it is ok.

Question for you skyfxl:

You mention these types of laptops need a lot of "tweaking". I own this exact same laptop and I run VDJ on it very well. I really haven't done any tweaking and use the HP branded nvidia drivers.

This laptop is a business class laptop with XP Professional. The nice thing about business class laptops (over consumer/personal ones) is the fact that you get minimal "slop" when it comes to pre-installed programs. But I did a fresh XP install anyways so that's not an issue.

I read some articles on here that say you need to "tweak" these NVIDIA laptops. I made some simple changes to performance and such. But if you can elaborate more on what needs to be "tweaked" it may help me run even better.

The one downside to this laptop is... I have to run with the HP branded drivers because if I use third party drivers I lose the ability to adjust the brightness on my screen (stupid HP proprietary crap).
