Topic: need help with sound card problem....

i am using an m-audio external sound card with my dell laptop. the program has been working fine for 1 month and 2 days ago it decided to start to mess with me. when i start the vdj program and i load a song it won't play. i have to then go into the config and swith it to my internal sound card then play the track for a second then go back into config and then i can choose my m-audio card and it will play fine.

i just reformatted my laptop and i am still having the same problem. i have all the updated drivers for my laptop and sound card.

can anyone please help me figure this out before i smash my $1800.00 laptop.

Do you connect something else on USB ports besides sound card? Try only sound card plugged in and see is it better.
Write down your machine Specs and what OS do U use.
